The Wachowski brothers are rebounding from their B.O. flop “Speed Racer” and are cooking up a new film “Cloud Atlas” with some trippy casting choices.
The filmmakers, whose project is based on a David Mitchell novel, currently have an offer out to Tom Hanks to play Dr. Henry Goose. James McAvoy is also in talks to portray an American attorney Adam Ewing.
“Cloud Atlas” will be set in various time periods and places.
Other stars linked to the project include Sir Ian McKellen, Natalie Portman and Halle Berry.
“Cloud Atlas” is set to shoot at the onset of 2011.

McAvoy is currently acting in “X-Men: First Class” which will open on June 3, 2011.
