 Hard at work on her latest project, Hilary Duff spent the afternoon on the set of "She Wants Me" in Los Angeles, The "Beauty & the Briefcase" babe was spotted chatting with castmate Josh Gad as she headed back to filming after a much-deserved lunch break, changing from her UGG boots into heels before hopping in front of the cameras.
As for the Hilary's endeavor, "She Wants Me" is a comedy being directed by Rob Margolies with a release date slated for 2011.
A synopsis of the film via IMDB tells: "A neurotic writer working on his new film gets into a tricky situation when an A-list actress shows interest in the role intended for his girlfriend."

Sheryl Crow joins in Washington DC rally

 Sheryl Crow will be lending her voice to a rally in Washington DC this upcoming weekend.
Crow will reportedly be a part of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert’s rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear, states Digital Spy. The singer will reportedly take to the stage to perform along with a few others.
The Roots and Jeff Tweedy from Wilco are both expected to perform at the rally. Other unnamed guests and artists are expected to make appearances and perform.

Asin’s biggest Birthday Surprise

Asin is one lucky female, who got to spend her birthday with her friends and family members. Three of Asin’s closest friends flew down from different parts of the world to be with her on her birthday on October 26.

Priety has done more than 30 films in Bollywood as well as Telugu, Punjabi and English language and will be honoured in the University of East London on 31st October, 2010.The University has announced to honour Preity for her performance in films like ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ and ‘Veer Zaara’.
Priety started her career with Mani Ratnam’s ‘Dil Se’ in 1998 followed by a role in ‘Soldier’ in the same year.

Lea Michele joked on Twitter about a recent trip to the dentist: “Back from the dentist. Had surgery and was put under but didn’t have a Britney fantasy!”
Britney ended up responding on her own Twitter: “@msleamichele NOBODY can help make a trip to the dentist a good time….- Britney.”
The chat continued as Lea Michele agreed, but admitted she was happy to get to watch movies while she was there.

'Glee's' Dianna Agron Apologizes For Racy GQ Photos 7Share

It’s a pretty typical cycle: teen starlet becomes super famous, teen starlet poses for racy or mature photos, photos circulate on the internet, parents get angry, and teen starlet has to publicly feign remorse for her actions. This story is almost one of those stories, except instead of a teen, the starlets in question are both in their mid 20s. So what’s the big deal?
Apparently playing a teen on TV means you have to act like a teen in the rest of the world too... at least that’s what a parents’ organization is demanding of Glee stars Dianna Agron, Cory Monteith, and Lea Michele after the trio posed for racy photos in November's issue of GQ.
Agron took to her blog to issue an apology after the Parents Television Council responded to the photos (which were leaked and made their rounds on the internet) saying that the hyper-sexualization of actors who play high school students on television “borders on pedophilia.” While I think that’s a bit much considering the actors are all well into their 20s and were posing in a magazine that is written and marketed toward adult men and not young teens, the photos were fairly over the top. However, I think Agron got it right when she apologized for offending anyone but noted that “…if your eight-year-old has a copy of our GQ cover in hand, again I am sorry. But I would have to ask, how on earth did it get there?” Exactly. If the cast showed up on Glee scantily-clad and posing in overt sexual positions, I would be complaining too, but the fact is, these photos are outside of the television show in an adult magazine.
Beyond that, I’m not sure that Agron is the one who needs to be making amends after the photo shoot. In the photos, she’s dressed like a sexy school girl, but only really bares her midriff and poses in mildly sexual poses. It’s Lea Michele who’s got some ‘splainin’ to do. Michele is over-the-top and borderline pornographic in these photos, posing in her underwear for most of them and even straddling a locker room bench with her legs wide open in one shot. Yeah, seriously. Agron’s involvement is sexy at most, but Michele’s poses are what really take the photos to an inappropriate level. Compared to the cutesy, all-American smiles from both Agron and Monteith, Michele looks like the tramp who’s trying to corrupt the good kids. Take it down a notch, sweetheart.
Even so, everyone just needs to calm down. Racy or not, these stars have every right to pose for a few photos and parents need to spend less time complaining about it and more time keeping their kids’ hands of off things they shouldn’t be looking at in the first place.

Gwyneth Paltrow To Sing At Country Music Awards

In between concocting the newsletters about personalized melamine plates for children and the one about the "fun frivolity of fashion that can really cheer a girl up," Gwyneth Paltrow filmed Country Strong, where she played a country singer who works to rebuild her career with an ascending singer and it complicates her relationship with her husband/manager, played by Tim McGraw. In the trailer we got a brief glimpse of Paltrow's vocal strength, but it wasn't live and it's unclear if that was really her voice or if it was just the creampuff and sudsy loofah voice of the red dress she wears in the scene (that was sewn by dandelions who's petals were organically speckled with maple syrup!).
But we'll finally get to hear Gwyneth's real and unedited voice when she performs the title song from the movie at the Country Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee next month. Alongside her will be real country music star, Vince Gill, who she'll no doubt be looking at the whole time for guidance, but we will have already been told it's just because she's surprised it's not Keith Urban. Last week, when the music video for Country Strong premiered, Shana Feste (who directed the movie), said Gwyneth had "the chops to be a truly believable country singer...." Feste is just lucky we were asked to believe she was a mathematician first.
We shall see how it goes! After all, she is married to Coldplay's Chris Martin, and she is very good friends with Jay-Z and Beyoncé, so she's probably gotten some musical gifts somewhere. But performing on stage in front of a trillion people who are wearing better cowboy boots than you is quite a lofty task to achieve. At least getting us to wear her "uniform" isn't the only bar she's set for herself.

Lindsay Lohan Goes Back To Rehab

I am confused! Isn't anyone else confused by all this "oh, she could go to jail, but she could also be forced to ride a horse without a saddle and naked for the rest of her life and OH THE CHAFING! But she could also just go back to rehab also?" stuff that Lindsay's dysfunction has introduced into our lives? It's almost like "enough is enough already," but then we'd rely on Joan Rivers too much and asking her to be useful more than one night a year isn't fair to her.
Anyway, Lindsay Lohan went to court this morning for failing those two drug tests back in September. The D.A. wanted her to get sentenced to 180 days in jail, but all the judge cared about was Lindsay spending new year's eve in rehab..which, quite frankly, sounds good because all new year's eve plans are overrated and it's always impossible to get anywhere and there's never enough alcohol, and everything's terrible so it's like you're in rehab anyway. After reaching this conclusion, the judge apparently looked at Lindsay directly and said "you are an addict. I hope you understand that." Lindsay nodded in agreement because it is true and she hadn't painted a better response on her fingernails.
So she went back to the Betty Ford Center, where she'll continue trying to understand how lifting up a horse's hoof can apply to her and her serenity level. OR maybe back to organizing the chicken bones she keeps under her bed. Who knows what's happening in Betty Ford! Do you think she's meeting with her drug counselor and actually talking to him about things? Who is responsible for getting her better? Does he go home to his wife and say to her, "man, this turkey you made for dinner is delicious and give me the corn but Lindsay is crazier than whoever named their kid Parker Posey?" I know Lindsay's probably planning on writing a book about her experiences in rehab, but her counselor should seriously open up for Stewart and Colbert at the rallies in DC.

Karan Johar has managed to make the impossible possible!!! Wondering what??? Well, he has some how managed to bring the two gorgeous beauties, Deepika and Sonam, together on one platform.
If Buzz is to be believed, Deepika and Sonam will share screen space for the first time on one of the episodes of the forthcoming season of Koffee With Karan. Apparently, the two actresses have made up.
When contacted, the producer Fazila Allana, who is behing the production of Koffee With Karan, he confirmed and said, “Yes. Deepika is coming with Sonam. We always wanted these two together on Koffee With Karan. And that’s happening. The two girls will shoot for the episode very soon.”

Lindsay Lohan's Lawyers Want To End Her Probation Early

Lindsay Lohan has put her lawyers through so much. She had a sweet little beautician (who probably still wears a beehive and eye glitter) paint "fuck u" onto her nails, and her lawyers had to pretend not to see it and act like it was meant for someone she was going to see later, instead of part of her plan to flip off the judge. Then, she went ahead and failed a drug test in the first week of September, which certainly meant her lawyers had to work on Labor Day. And then she failed another one, putting her at risk to go back to jail for 30 days and meaning they had to leave their law schools' luncheons to go help her. The only people working harder than her lawyers are traffic cops.
Understandably, they're done helping her through the consequences of her probation violations. RadarOnline reports her legal team hopes to convince the judge to end Lohan's probation sentence early (it's set to expire in August of 2011) so her legal problems won't keep piling up when she violates its terms. In other words, they're looking to shave a few months off her probation so that when she's a disobedient young lady, it won't matter as much because her actions won't count as violations, since she would no longer be on probation. They hope to convince the judge to indulge their request by agreeing to have Lindsay spend more time in rehab at the Betty Ford Center in Palm Springs, and/or have her attend more alcohol education classes as long as there's alcohol there. Sorry, I gave all my sympathy away this morning when I saw a really fat squirrel and realized he's probably super behind on storing up food for himself.
Lindsay has her next hearing with the judge on October 22nd, at which time her lawyer will not deny the fact she failed two drug tests. Lindsay probably won't be there though, as it's not what Radar calls a "full blown" hearing and she might be allowed to just stay in rehab. The judge could sentence her to 30 days in jail for each of the failed drug tests, but once again, "jail overcrowding" will come to the defense of the Mean Girls star by just requiring she be processed, maybe use a cell toilet a few times, and then she'll be let go.

Snooki Snuck Onto 'South Park's' 'Jersey Shore' Episode

Snooki took some time out of her busy snookin'-a-book-together schedule to appear on the Jersey Shore episode of South Park (see below) last night, where she crawled around with her pickles and her purses and her sneaker slippers and her visible thong and her hoop earrings and binged on the contents of people's meat lockers and broke cigarette machines in half and turned Kyle into Kyley-B by humping him. So let's hear it for Snooki, who's gassing up her "I love Snooki" chambers and ushering us into them by appearing on the other shows we like and writing books that make us kick the new Dave Eggers one further down our reading lists! She really is turning into a global empire. She's even becoming the tootsie roll center of Halloween's tootsie pop, now that several costumes have been manufactured in her honor! And she hasn't even needed to use any duct tape in the process of achieving her domination! Not even Princess Diana or Brendan Fraser won our hearts without a little adhesive.
Now let's recap. Snooki is available for babysitting, disco parties, roller derbies, movie cameos, and photoshopping bananas into your wedding photos. She's also not afraid of tree frog hunting, licking icicles, and doing the voice-over for your movie trailer. The more you wish for her to go away, the more likely you'll walk into your doctor's office one day for a routine cleaning and you'll only have magazines devoted to the life and times of the Snook to read while you wait to be seen. Nope, not even a Parenting will be in sight. So just accept her and her Corona margaritas.

Tom Hanks, James McAvoy could float on ‘Cloud Atlas’

 The Wachowski brothers are rebounding from their B.O. flop “Speed Racer” and are cooking up a new film “Cloud Atlas” with some trippy casting choices.
The filmmakers, whose project is based on a David Mitchell novel, currently have an offer out to Tom Hanks to play Dr. Henry Goose. James McAvoy is also in talks to portray an American attorney Adam Ewing.
“Cloud Atlas” will be set in various time periods and places.
Other stars linked to the project include Sir Ian McKellen, Natalie Portman and Halle Berry.
“Cloud Atlas” is set to shoot at the onset of 2011.

BigB, SRK and Hrithik set the runway ablaze

What more could have the audiences of Karan Johar and Varun Bahl’s fashion show at the HDIL- India Couture Week, wished, after seeing all the three Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham stars walking the ramp. Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan were the showstoppers for Karan and Varun’s fashion show on men’s wear on Thursday evening.
The terrific trio sashayed down the runway for Karan Johar and Varun Bahl’s show at the HDIL India Couture Week. Big B wore a black overcoat; SRK was clad in a nifty suit; Hrithik wore a somewhat zany coat with excessive buttonwork.
But what set the tempo for the show was when Shahrukh – always in the mood to have fun – prodded Big B and Hrithik to dance on the ramp. What followed left the crowd applauding with delight.

Sallu’s Bigg Boss unperturbed by the threat….

A throng of Shiv Sena activists reached the ‘Bigg Boss’ house at Lonavala to protest against the participation of two Pakistanis – Veena Malik, an actress, and Begum Nawazish Ali, a cross-dresser – in the show. The security in and around the house has tightened up as the protest continues for the third consecutive day.
According to reports, the Sena leaders gave a 48-hour ultimatum to the channel officials, asking them to stop the shooting or they would enter the bungalow forcefully and disrupt the show.“Come what may, we will not allow the show. Don’t issue law and order (disruption) threats to us. Shiv Sena will disrupt the TV show,” Sena chief Bal Thackeray said in a statement in Mumbai.
On Tuesday, the activists had cautioned the officials that they would stop supplying all the essential commodities including water and power to the bungalow the didn’t stop the shooting immediately.The makers of the show, however, seem unperturbed by the threat and the shooting is not disrupted yet.

Endhiran-The Robot is minting humongous sums and has surpassed the box office record of Salman Khan home production Dabangg too.
If Dabangg made Rs. 82 crore in its first week, Endhiran-The Robot gained a net collection of a whooping Rs.117 crore, which is unmatched by any Indian film yet.
According to the trade analyst and distributor of films, Suniel Wadhwa, Endhiran has hit Rs.60 net collection in Tamil Naidu, as for Andhra Pradesh it is Rs.30 crore while in Karnatka the flick minted Rs.8 crore and in Kerala it is Rs 4 crore. The Hindi version that is The Robot collected Rs.15 crore, a net collection of Rs. 117 crore, which Dabangg took two weeks to earn.

Our Dostana beauty Priyanka Chopra has bagged the title of the most kissable star beating off competition from fellow Bollywood beauties like Aishwarya Rai and Kareena Kapoor.This Desi girl became an instant hit after sporting a gold bikini for ‘Dostana’, as a result, topping the survey conducted by men’s magazine ‘Fantasy’.
“It was a close run but Priyanka Chopra’s bee-stung lips made her a perfect candidate to top this list,” said the magazine about the winning candidate.Aishwarya grabbed the second spot followed by the lovely Bebo in the third position.
Following the third position, was the Bengali beauty Bipasha Basu. Wonder why Katrina came 5th… Sonam Kapoor occupied the sixth spot and Mallika ‘Hiss’ Sherawat was the seventh entry on the list. Deepika Padukone, Genelia D’Souza and Asin rounded off the top ten.

Honeymoon period not yet over for Ash-Abhi…

When actress Aishwarya Rai walked the ramp after many years as the showstopper for designer Manish Malhotra at the HDIL-India Couture Week (HDIL-ICW) opening show, the very first thing that she did was playfully winked at her hubby Abhishek Bachchan, who, in complete awe of his ladylove, was in the cheering crowd. Not only did she wink at Abhi, she even blew flying kisses from the ramp ( guess the honeymoon period never seems to get over).
The scene was even better as soon as the show was over. Both, Ash and Abhi hugged couldn’t take their eyes off each other. Abhi couldn’t stop praising his beautiful wife and Ash on the other hand kept accepting the lovely compliments coming her way with a wonderful smile.

Deepika hush-hush on her affair with Siddharth

Deepika Padukone is not denying her love for Siddharth Mallya. But she isn’t admitting it either. Tell her about the rumours and she laughs, “We all know how true such rumours are. I’m very uncomfortable talking about it. Let the press write and say what it has to. I’m not saying anything.”

Katrina feasts with Imran Khan

Katrina Kaif who was supposed be religiously dieting and working out, to maintain her slim and svelte look, gave in to temptation yesterday when she and her co-stars stopped at a roadside dhaba to feast on Punjabi khaana.
Says a source close to the actress, “Imran and Kat suddenly decided to stop at a roadside dhaba to sample the food there. Ali and the crew of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan were also with them. The unit had wound up the shoot at Mussourie and were on their way to Chandigarh. The dhaba was one of those quaint, rustic ones you see on highways. It was completely deserted. Katrina, Imran and Ali Abbas Zafar thoroughly enjoyed eating there without the restriction of people staring at them.”
The actors decided to take a break after a six-hour long drive. “Kat took one look at the rich, spicy Punjabi food and decided break her diet and have some too. She enjoyed herself thoroughly, ordering daal, rotis, chicken and mutton. She normally avoids too much oily and spicy food but just couldn’t resist the food when she saw it. Now, she will have some rigorous dieting and workouts to do when she reaches Chandigarh.”
Says Katrina, “I am not dieting. I am feasting on some delicious tadka daal and mutton.”

Salman’s attitude in ‘Bigg Boss 4′- Unpretentious and Straightforward

This year, as Salman Khan hosts the fourth season of Bigg Boss, the super star promises to be unpretentious, straightforward and absolutely frank on his part.“The first and only lesson I have learned in acting is to be myself. Viewers will get 100 per cent unadulterated Salman Khan in Bigg Boss. I am hosting it in my own style – frank and uncut,” Salman is quoted to have said in an interview.
Regarding the housemates, Salman said anyone playing smart and clever, will get a short end of the stick.
“I am a very straight-forward person and I will not take any hypocrisy and politics lightly. For those housemates who play clean, they will always find their best friend in me. Those who don’t, be ready to expect the worst,” he said.
Salman also admitted that he consulted his mom before agreeing to host the show.

Time to get hitched!!!

Imran Khan and Avantika can’t wait to tie the knot. The two got engaged in January this year and if buzz is to be believed, they are now set to get married in Jan 2011.
If all goes well, Imran and Avantika are planning an extra-ordinary wedding in Thailand. The ceremony will reportedly take place sometime in January, and the venue would be a palatial resort that will also house the guests who will fly from Mumbai and elsewhere for the grand wedding.
From what we hear, Imran is hoping to keep himself free for a month or more to be able to fully commit to the marriage and the honeymoon that will follow. He has even requested Karan Johar to shift the dates for the film Short Term Shaadi so that he could have his own shaadi (not short term, we hope) or nikaah without any hitch.

Salim Khan open’s up about beta Salman’s love life

Salman Khan never opens up about the matters of his heart, but his daddy Salim Khan, the illustrious scriptwriter, is quite open while discussing his 44-year-old son’s love life.
“There’s a contradiction in Salman’s character. He gets attracted to women from his industry only… his co-stars become his love interests. Once a relationship is established, he starts looking for his mom in them. Now that is not possible,” Salim told on ETC’s show Bollywood Business.Salim Khan also said that it is impossible for a girl to have all the qualities that Salman’s mom has.
“A woman who has just started her career can’t be doing stuff like preparing meals, washing clothes, preparing kids and yet lead the hectic life of a movie star! This expectation can’t be met by a woman who has just started her film career…not even if she tries,” reasoned the 74-year-old scriptwriter.
“Whenever girls have come into Salman’s life, they are looking to be a movie star. So settling down is the last thing on their minds. So the relationships reach a saturation point and then fizzle out,” Salim Khan said.
Salman has so far dated different women, including Somy Ali, Sangeeta Bijlani, Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif. Sadly, none of the affairs has turned into marriage.

Cracks begin between Saif and Kareena

Ajay Devgn and Bobby Deol as Santa & Banta

Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Bobby Deol were last seen together in the 2005 film Tango Charlie, which did not do well at the Box Office. Since then, they have not appeared together in any movie. Now, after five years, Ajay and Bobby are again going to share screen space with the new film titled Santa Banta.
Sameer Karnik will be directing this movie, whose title suggests that it will be liked by many people. The filmmaker happens to be a good friend of Bobby and they have earlier worked on the films like Nanhe Jaisalmer and Heroes.
The director is now working with Bobby in another film titled Yamla Pagla Deewana, which also stars his brother Sunny Deol and father veteran star Dharmendra.
The leading ladies for Santa Banta are not finalized yet and the shooting is likely to begin by February next year.
Ajay has given many successful and notable films in these years but Bobby has almost lost his charm and one can hardly remember any of his films doing well in the recent times.
