Imran Khan and Avantika can’t wait to tie the knot. The two got engaged in January this year and if buzz is to be believed, they are now set to get married in Jan 2011.
If all goes well, Imran and Avantika are planning an extra-ordinary wedding in Thailand. The ceremony will reportedly take place sometime in January, and the venue would be a palatial resort that will also house the guests who will fly from Mumbai and elsewhere for the grand wedding.
From what we hear, Imran is hoping to keep himself free for a month or more to be able to fully commit to the marriage and the honeymoon that will follow. He has even requested Karan Johar to shift the dates for the film Short Term Shaadi so that he could have his own shaadi (not short term, we hope) or nikaah without any hitch.
